WHAT CAN I DO PRIOR TO TREK?
Promote trek and make sure key dates are communicated and attended. Registration for trek will occur on a website dedicated to trek.
4/19 430pm – Trek Kickoff Fireside
5/1 – Registration Deadline
Bishops, please plan to attend Trek, if possible. We anticipate Bishops serving as Company Captains. Your spouse is welcome to attend. Your spouse can walk with you or choose to help in other ways (our Food, Activity, Medical, and Photography committees have need of assistance). Please reach out to Bryan and Ashley Nielsen with questions.
Plan a youth activity night to research ancestors/pioneers and identify a specific person and their pioneer story (pioneers come in all time periods and forms).
Hold trek dance lessons with Jeri Lundskog (503-984-8208).
As trek gets closer, consider planning an activity (or a few) that will get the youth moving physically - walk, hike, bike, etc.
Involve Ward Youth Trek Reps in preparations.
