MA AND PA FAQ'S
  • We will be traveling to Mosida in several large buses. We will have bus assignments, so trek family units travel together.

  • No. We will not be using tents at trek. Each family will be provided with tarps and poles to create a structure for sleep and shade.

  • Trek at Mosida consists of walking 4-8 miles a day. Prepare for this by walking regularly in the weeks leading up to trek. Break-in your trek shoes in the weeks leading up to trek as well.

  • Each ma and pa are the stewards over their trek family. Pray for the youth in your family. Participate in temple work for the dead, to feel closer to pioneers and God. Spend time in the scriptures - focus on "faith in every footstep" narratives from the Bible, Book of Mormon, and Doctrine & Covenants, along with pioneer stories. Research handcart pioneers and personal family history to understand their sacrifices and faith. Familiarize yourself with the trek's specific themes and expectations. Strive to “walk with Him” in your daily activities by living Christ's teachings and having the Holy Ghost present in your life.
